Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of Professional Services

Atalay Huryasar Creative Workshop provides specialized, time-intensive professional services including custom web software architecture, technical search engine audits, digital analytics implementations, and advisory consulting. Because our resources are committed exclusively to agreed client capacity, payments reflect engineering hours, strategic analysis, and intellectual property development.

2. Milestone Deposits & Sprints

• Initial Sprint Commitment Deposits (50%): Prior to commencement of any sprint or technical architecture engagement, a non-refundable commitment deposit is required. This deposit reserves engineering availability, covers initial system audits, and initiates sprint planning. Once sprint kickoff has occurred or technical documentation has been produced, this deposit is non-refundable.
• Final Milestone Payments (50%): Payable upon verification that deliverables meet the acceptance criteria explicitly defined in the SOW. If deliverables fail to meet documented criteria, the Company will remedy defects during a dedicated thirty (30) day warranty window without additional cost.

3. Monthly Retainers & Ongoing Advisory

Monthly architecture retainers provide reserved development capacity, ongoing monitoring, and continuous priority deployment. Retainers are billed at the beginning of each 30-day period.

• Cancellation Notice: Either party may cancel an active monthly retainer by providing written notice at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the start of the next billing cycle.
• Proration: Fees paid for active, running monthly retainer cycles are non-refundable once the cycle has commenced.

4. Client Project Cancellation & Termination

If a Client elects to terminate an active fixed-price project prior to completion:

1. The Client must deliver formal written notice to atalay@huryasar.com.
2. The Client will be invoiced on a prorated basis for all completed sprint milestones and verifiable engineering hours accrued up to the date of notice.
3. Any unearned portion of prepaid deposits exceeding accrued hours will be refunded to the original payment method within fourteen (14) business days.
4. All completed work product, code commits, and research compiled up to the cancellation date will be handed over to the Client upon settlement of accrued fees.

5. Dispute Resolution & Chargeback Policy

We are dedicated to collaborative, transparent client partnerships. In the event of any billing dispute, the Client agrees to contact atalay@huryasar.com in good faith to resolve the issue directly with executive leadership prior to initiating chargebacks or payment disputes with financial intermediaries.
